Bingqing Zhang and Lifei Yin successfully defended their Ph.D. dissertations. Bingqing began a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, and Lifei joined the California Air Resources Board.

High school mentee Sarah Wang presented “Spatial disparities in toxic PM across modes of transportation” at the Georgia Science and Engineering Fair, earning First Honors and three major awards: the Senior Division Best in Category Grand Award (Earth and Environmental Science), the Atlanta Geological Society Nils Thompson Memorial Award, and the Wesleyan College Math & Science Award.

Pengfei Liu received the 2025 Sigma Xi Young Faculty Award.
